Harbour Village Reef Foundation
Coral Restoration
- Home to an underwater coral restoration nursery of 10 Elkhorn and Staghorn coral trees located right off the resort's private beach and always cared for by the resort’s dive masters.
- Corals are transplanted to the house reef after 9 months of care.
- Guests transplanting corals can return every year to see how their transplanted corals have grown.
Reef Monitoring Camera + Satellite Buoy
- Harbour Village Beach Club has underwater reef monitoring, providing a view into water and sea life activity.
- An Aqualink buoy, measuring water temperature, floats just off the resort’s shore.
- Data is uploaded to a site monitored by marine scientists.

Electrified Reef
- An Electrified Reef involves transplanting a variety of coral species onto metal structures connected to low voltage DC current which stimulates new growth significantly faster than traditional methods of coral restoration.
- There are two metal domes installed right off the resort's shore growing corals, visible on the underwater reef cam. The goal is to transplant the corals to enhance the house reef.
